Franck ‘Zest’ Noto, born in Montpellier in 1980, hails from an artistic upbringing, discovering the world of graffiti at the young age of eight. His initial foray into graffiti in 1995 marked the beginning of a lifelong journey exploring this expressive art form. As a member of the TDM crew, he found a supportive community, leading to the creation of murals spanning from New York to Noumea and various European capitals. Describing this evolution, Zest reflects, “Before my art was figurative, and I was simply translating what I observed around me. However, there is a difference in translating what I see and expressing what I feel.” His inspiration knows no bounds, driven by a passion for exploring harmonies between form and color. Zest synthesizes diverse influences into his unique style, using basic shapes and primary colors to translate the energies accumulated through his experiences in the graffiti world into a contemporary language.
